Growth #14 - Sit Up, Stand Up!

Our little lady bug is growing so, so fast!  Sure, she's a tiny little thing and we get comments regularly that "she's so smaaaalllllll!" (how did that happen, by the way?), but that doesn't change the fact that she's a little fireball and learning new skills every single day.  Today, as our little family of four sat in front of the computer looking over our new amazing gallery of photos, Grace in my lap and Caleb in Ben's, the little lady reached for the desk, put her hands on it, and pushed into a full stand all by herself.

All. by. herself.  No holding onto Mom's hands.  This is not ok.

Well, now she's a full on superwoman- shaggy long hair and all!

Are you talkin bout me?!

Another long day at work, we didn't get to pick up the littles until 5pm, the last babies to be picked up. Apparently they are just rockstars at daycare and we have heard comments every day that they're just so easy and such happy babies.  When they passed Caleb over the little half wall, he had a GIANT smile on his face and was just the most excited little dude I've ever seen.  Gracie seemed sleepy, she had just woken up from a nap, but when we got home she was ready to party- standing and all!

Cutest scene as I was sitting in the play area with both of them, Grace holding my hands to stand up and Caleb sitting in front of me so he could sit up.  They were facing each other and Caleb started reaching up and touching Grace's tummy.  She started smiling and Caleb smiled back.  Then he started waving his arms up and down, tapping Grace and slamming his arms into his lap.  Apparently, he was entertaining the little miss because she started laughing at him everytime he did it! I was dying watching my two babies actually play together!

Grace actually sneezing right in Caleb's face...this was of course immediately after he had removed a toy from her mouth and placed it into his and then she did the same right back...

Teething is tough work. But at least I get a short break from that funny hat! :)

Hey Mom, this toy doesn't taste like it was previously slobbered on.  Can you get me a used toy? I much prefer freshly chewed on by that other big baby. Thanks.
