All Things Haley: Year In The Life #17

We're in full blown teething war zone over here! The babies have been on-again, off-again teething for months now...typically we have at least one of them with at least one tooth coming in. Right now, Grace has her top two teeth, maybe all four, coming in and Caleb...the poor little dude, has two and a half molars AND a canine coming in!

They're not exactly happy about it, either.

But we're getting through it. Some motrin here and there helps, and lots of biting/chewing/drooling of course! I think we're going to see more night wakings over the next few weeks again, unfortunately. JUST when we had started to get into a groove.

It was fun to spend a little more time with the littles today. They were pretty cute this morning. I let them wander around the kitchen and family room for most of the morning, and they love that. Caleb stayed in a small space, but roamed around a bit. He was trying desperately to pull up on the pack n play that I use as our baby gate to block off the living room...he's gonna get there soon!

Speaking of that pack n play, we have an escape artist. Miss Grace Face is too smart for her own (and for my own) good! She's figured out to how move it out of the way to get where she wants to go. She's also a climbing machine now and gets up onto our chair, on top of her ride-on toys (standing I might add) and over just about anything that comes in her way. But the hugging makes up for any extra grey hairs she's adding to my head right now. I caught her hugging Tayla today and it was the sweetest thing! She lies her head down on her and is super gentle... it doesn't last long, but it's adorable!
