Our children sound like farm animals. Honestly, at just about any point during play time in our home, you are guaranteed to hear a wide range of animal sounds. Today, Grace was perfecting her "Moo". She spent a good five minutes just laying on her playmat mooing at all of the toys, and then mooing at me when I would come over to her. They have the owl "hoo" sound going pretty well, too- especially Caleb. And he'll throw in a baaah every now and then for good measure. Grace has a distinct horse sound as well, it sounds like a snort almost, but mostly like a horse. And when she cries, she absolutely snorts like a little piglet. Adorable and sad all at once.
I love that they're finding their voices. Caleb has definitely taken the title of "chatter" for now. Grace usually sits back and stares at his crazy noise making. From time to time she'll chime in, though. She can't let him have all the fun.
I imagine what our house will sound like when our babies are no longer babies, but voracious and lively three year old farm animals. What will the neighbors think?
