Little man has some serious distraction problems. While we're also wrestling with the possibility of reflux (still), he is regularly distracted by loud noises or just the lure of a shiny object that may or may not be somewhere in the room... and CAN NOT get a bottle down without about 107 head turns and pulling off every third second.
Jess and her sister came over today to see the littles (and bring me a huge lunch with plenty of extras for leftovers! Yay for not having to scavenge for food for TWO days!!!!!). As soon as they got there Caleb was doing his adorable smiling at his reflection routine in his mirror. We played, then put them down for a nap, and then it was time for a bottle. Jess offered to feed Caleb, so I warned her and then let her at it. After who-knows-how-many head turns and pulling off the bottle, Jess said "maybe we should get that mirror over here..."! BRILLIANT. I went and got it and sure enough, the little dude stopped looking around, stared right at his handsome self in the mirror, and took down the bottle. He's his father's son... ;)
Loved it.
