Well our little Grace Face continues to be sick and today had a fever of 102.8. Luckily Ty.lenol helped to bring her fever down but it's pretty obvious she is isn't feeling well. First, she hasn't been eating quite as much as she usually does and overall she's just not her energetic Boo Bear self. Even though she's sick she still laughing and walking around exploring.
I do have one funny story to share that happened while we were all in the playroom getting ready to start bedtime. Grace and Caleb were playing as usual and Amy and I were talking about our day when Grace started walking up to Mommy and giving her hugs. Then she went over to the giant stuffed bear and gave the bear a hug. It went on for awhile back and forth between Mommy and the bear. I wanted in on the action and held my arms open so Grace could run into them. So of course like she always does she started to walk right towards me with arms open but about two steps before she would get to me she would stop, turn around, and head toward Mommy or the bear. This went on for probably ten minutes. Every time she would get close I would get an excited look on my face and she would stop and give me funny little smile and turn right around. The bear got lots of hugs, Mommy got lots of hugs, and Daddy got disappointment and sadness! Okay maybe it wasn't that dramatic but it was really funny to see Grace playing games with me. It's so cute to think at only one year old she already knows so many things. She's such a little kid now and it's a lot of fun. Okay a shorter post again tonight because I'm always tired despite the fact that we actually had a peaceful night as the babies slept until 5am.
